Becoming You Online Class Overview

One of the main tasks of life is to figure out who we are.

Unfortunately, our fast-paced culture does not give up permission to slow down enough to even ask the question, “Who am I?”

So, after years of teaching this subject in college and seminary settings, I decided to make an online class devoted to this singular topic.

The goal is not to tell you who you are but to provide you with some of the best tools I have come across over the years and talk about this topic in light of some of the best, overlooked, and ancient wisdom of the Christian tradition.

What Others Have Said About It

“As a naturally introspective person, this course was helpful in pointing my introspection in productive directions for personal development. The frameworks and questions for reflection John shares gave me actionable things to think about after the course– I especially liked the modules about defense mechanisms and the 4 types of relating.” – Joseph C.

“It is easy to tell John is a professor of these things.”

“John is approachable in these videos as he talks through some rather sophisticated ideas.”

“These topics are best suited for young adults, but really quite helpful for people of any age.”
